Scope of work

Clough completed the Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning contract for the Water Corporation's Neerabup Groundwater Treatment Plant, located in Neerabup National Park.

The project involved the delivery of six gravity filters to remove iron from incoming bore water, chemical dosing facilities for the addition of chlorine, fluorine and polymers, three concrete water storage tanks, a pump station, and a 1,200 mm diameter transfer water main with the capacity to deliver 120 megalitres of water per day to the Neerabup Reservoir, mechanical equipment, including blowers, air compressors, pumps and ventilation, and an operations and control system.

The completed project allowed for the plant to supply an additional 120 million litres of treated water per day to supplement a growing demand for water from consumers in Perth’s northern suburbs.
