Clough is currently undertaking the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) scope of the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia. 

The aim of the Stage 2 Development is to contribute to the stable supply of LNG to meet increasing global demand as well as to continue supplying domestic gas for use by Western Australian manufacturers and consumers. It will also contribute to a low-carbon society by promoting fuel conversion to gas in the medium term.

The project includes a 250TJ/day gas processing plant and associated gas gathering pipelines spread across an area with a radius of approximately 10km, that will convey gas via the nearby Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.

The Waitsia gas field is ranked one of the largest gas fields ever discovered onshore in Australia and it is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the Mid-West region during both construction and operating phases.
