Scope of work

Clough completed the contract for detailed engineering, procurement, preparatory civil works, piping and compressor installation (including electrical, instrumentation and control equipment), and precommissioning and commissioning support for Arrow’s Moranbah Gas Processing Facility (MGPF), located in the Bowen Basin, approximately 400 km south of Townsville and 170 km west of Mackay.

The project involved the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction for all off skid piping, and the installation of one free issued compressor package consisting of a self-contained unit, fitted with an Aerial RG357M and a Waukesha 7042 GSIE (1100 kW) driver. The package was fitted with an on-board controller, on board fuel conditioning, starter motor, pre-lube pneumatic pump and start logic and freestanding cooler.

The project also involved the detailed engineering for civil, structural, mechanical, instrument and electrical; the procurement of structural steel, pipe, small valves (under DN150), instruments and control; the fabrication of all off skid structural steel and piping; the installation of a free issued gas driven compressor and cooler skid; the installation of all free issued valves that are above DN 150; all civil works to prepare the site for the compressors and piping; the installation of the electrical, instrumentation and control equipment for the compressor; pre-commissioning support; and commissioning support.
