Clough completed the management of operations for the CSA copper mine at Cobar, in New South Wales.

The contract involved Clough to carry out all underground production works for down hole benching with cemented sand fill, and the management of the underground operations, with a focus on the implementation of “Best Practice” management systems. 

The contract also involved excavation, drilling, and blasting of ore with associated activities, such as pumping and drainage, in addition to the installation and maintenance of services and roadways. 

The project also involved Stoping operations which required the excavation of approximately 1.9 million tonnes of ore from stope blocks. This operation included the removal of services, drilling, blasting tele-remote loading and trucking.
