Clough completed a design, construction, testing and commissioning contract for the Water Corporation of Western Australia to expand their Bunbury No.2 wastewater treatment plant.
 
The project involved the design and construction of two 3,500m³ aeration tanks and associated air blower facilities, screenings, screenings washing and drying bed facilities.

Overall project management, civil, pipework and electrical design and installation was carried out by Clough with subcontract support in the areas of process and mechanical design, civil, piping and mechanical installation activities.

The successful upgrade allowed the Water Corporation to decommission their No.1 plant.
