Clough completed a contract for the fabrication of the Goodwyn “A” accommodation and utilities modules for Stage 3 of the North West Shelf Gas Development project.

The Goodwyn “A” project consisted of a gas and condensate production platform located in the northern extension of the Goodwyn Field.

The project involved the delivery of a platform which stands in 131 metres of water some 23 kilometres west-southwest of North Rankin “A”. The platform topsides are a fully integrated facility by combining production, utilities, accommodation and drilling. A gas recycling facility is also included to optimise the production of condensate.

The project also involved the delivery of level four levels. Level 0 involved the delivery of survival craft, heating, ventilation and airconditioning (HVAC), plant, muster areas and communications equipment. Level one involved the delivery of the central control room, workshop stores and offices. Levels two, three and four involved the delivery of the accommodation facilities and amenities. The roof involved the delivery of the helideck, fresh water storage tanks, HVAC and minor equipment items.
