Major milestone for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project with the team recently welcoming the arrival of the high-fidelity train mock-up.

This life-sized representation of the train’s digital design enables passengers to interact with the layout and features, allowing for valuable feedback on comfort, usability, and safety, overall ensuring the final design meets the needs of all passengers.

Paired with VR technology, mock-ups like this are shaping the future of train design by streamlining the process and minimising changes during construction.

This turnkey project is transforming Greater Western Sydney by connecting communities to job opportunities and linking travellers from the new airport to Sydney’s public transportation network.
