Clough was awarded the construction contract for a liquor burning facility, as part of the Worsley Alumina Refinery expansion, located 250 kilometres southeast of Perth.

The project involved the supply, fabrication, and delivery of 1,000 tonnes of structural steelwork, the erection of 1,200 tonnes of steelwork. Installation and testing of 400 tonnes of carbon steel pipework, the installation of a 58m long x 4.2m diameter KILN and the installation of 200 pieces of mechanical equipment ranging from pumps, blowers, filters, conveyors, baghouses and cyclones.
