Scope of work

Clough, in a joint venture with BAM, completed the contract to construct a new LNG Jetty as part of the Pluto LNG Project for Woodside on the Burrup Peninsula near Dampier in Western Australia.

The project involved the design and construction of a 300-metre-long approach LNG jetty including a 40 x 50 metre platform, four breasting dolphins, six mooring dolphins and navigational aids.

The project also involved the placement of 20 client supplied PAU’s for the approach of the jetty and mechanical equipment onto the loading platform; the fabrication, supply and installation of nine catwalks interconnecting the dolphins and the installation of five navigation leads and 4 floating buoys.

Construction utilised the recently upgraded jack up barge IB909 with enhanced lifting capacity.
