Your focus will include:
Managing the preparation and submission of interim progress claims and final accounts, ensuring timely payment.
Overseeing subcontractor payment claims, variations, contractual claims, and final accounts in line with subcontract terms.
Providing expert advice on contractual issues to delivery and management teams.
Assisting the Contract Manager with the preparation of monthly reports.
Compiling and analysing cost-related information, identifying trends, and making recommendations.
Ensuring target cost estimates and project procurement procedures adhere to standards.
Managing project risks related to claims, variations, and delays while proposing process improvements.
Preparing reports and delivering timely and accurate contractual documentation.
Working collaboratively with team members and ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
What you will bring to the team:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract administration on building projects.
Strong knowledge of contract and commercial/finance management principles.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Well-developed time management and collaborative skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
A valid White Card and a commitment to health and safety best practices.
