Your focus will include:
Managing the contractual performance of assigned contracts, including KPI monitoring and contract performance review meetings.
Identifying and addressing contract and service delivery risks through effective remediation strategies.
Liaising with the Legal team to manage dispute and claim resolutions in compliance with contractual processes.
Conducting contract administration, supplier performance evaluation, and ensuring adherence to agreed service levels and obligations.
Supporting the Commercial Managers in sourcing processes, variations, and new supplier services while providing expert contractual advice.
Proactively identifying and managing risks to maximise contract value and compliance.
Preparing and maintaining critical contract documentation, including management plans, agendas, risk frameworks, and KPI scorecards.
Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to minimise risk, resolve issues, and enhance contract value.
What you will bring to the team:
A degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law (postgraduate qualification in commercial or legal fields desirable).
5–8 years of experience in project or contractual engineering, with experience on large construction projects highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to manage contracts on major projects with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proven analytical skills for addressing contractual and legal issues effectively.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a successful dispute resolution track record.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including effective presentation skills.
Leadership skills to inspire and guide teams while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and competent in planning and organising work schedules.
