Interface Manager

Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for an Interface Manager on a 19:9 rotation to join our interface/stakeholder management team. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for managing stakeholder relations, including reporting to the client, managing government/other company relations and providing project management support to the project.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring clear and consistent communication between all project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, contractors, and clients, to address issues and manage expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing project interfaces, coordinating actions to mitigate risks and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives, timelines, and stakeholder needs, fostering collaboration and maintaining a positive project environment.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges, providing solutions that meet both stakeholder and project goals.
  • Monitor and report on stakeholder relations progress, ensuring all engagement activities are documented and tracked.
  • Assist with Project Management activities.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline).
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management and interface coordination, particularly in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, local communities, contractors, and senior management.
  • A deep understanding of project management processes and construction industry dynamics.
  • Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site (FIFO).
