Senior Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance Team in Perth! In this role, you will effectively contribute to the integrity of financial information, accounting activities, budgeting and forecasting of all operating units and projects for our key operations.

Your focus will include:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports for the Clough Webuild Australian Group, ensuring alignment with budget targets

  • Oversee the completion of all month-end and annual closing activities, including financial reporting, variance analysis, and responding to audit queries

  • Compile a comprehensive management pack with financial reports, KPIs, and insights into business performance

  • Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions for allocated companies

  • Prepare yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts to support company targets and assist managers in achieving their KPIs

  • Preparation, management, and review of cash flow, ensuring effective monitoring and forecasting to support financial stability and business objectives

What you will bring to the team:

  • Membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia

  • Previous experience in a Senior Accountant role

  • Collaborative team player, proactive problem solver and passion towards learning new systems or financial tools

  • Strong analytical, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • High degree of attention to detail and committed to meeting deadlines.
