Webuild has been a proud partner of World Science Festival since 2024, inspiring the next generation of innovators and engineers. The WSF is one of the largest celebrations of STEM in the southern hemisphere. 

With a legacy of global engineering feats, we recognise STEM's pivotal role in shaping our world and solving the challenges of tomorrow. The Webuild activation showcased the true marvels of engineering throughout our project history, and we were thrilled to be visited by so many members of the community.

Since the establishment of the Clough Scholarship Program in 1972, we have awarded more than 300 scholarships to tertiary students across a wide range of engineering disciplines including civil, construction management, mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, process, environmental and ocean engineering, as well as health, safety and environment.

Inspiring the next generation of engineers - each year we host our annual Future Engineers Open Day, welcoming students from years 9 – 12 into our offices to be immersed in the dynamic world of engineering and construction!

Students get to explore learning and career pathways into our industry, engage in opportunities to challenge their problem-solving skills, and discover the emerging technologies shaping the future of what we do.

Investing in a more sustainable tomorrow - we are proud sponsors of Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA’s Inspiring Girls Career Forum.

This event opens the doors to the exciting opportunities and pathways into STEM and the resources sector for high school students.

Since 2021, we have been proud community partners of Stars Foundation, empowering their mission to support improved education, health and employment outcomes for First Nations young women. 

We actively supported Star Foundation, engaging students with work experience opportunities, hosting Open Days to encourage their interest in STEM careers, and attending Stars’ careers forum and events.

We have been proud sponsors of the It Takes a Spark Conference since 2022! Last year, the conference attendance grew to over 500 students and teachers, connecting with industry leaders and educators.

The conference brings together students (Year 4 - 10) and teachers to connect with inspiring industry role models and take part in engaging activities with the intent to ignite, empower, and nurture the next leaders of STEM and Entrepreneurship.

In 2022 we proudly partnered with Curtin University for their Girls Engineering Tomorrow Program, which is designed to encourage and inspire the next generation of women in STEM through tutoring support, and exposure to engineering activities, role models, and careers.

As part of our partnership, paired up Adriana, Senior Electrical Engineer, and Angel, Year 11 student, as part of the 10-week mentoring program. Adriana shared her insights and experiences with Angel to further spark her interest in the exciting world of engineering!
