Clough, in joint venture with AJ Lucas Contractors, completed the construction contract of the first gas pipeline under the exclusive AGL-Clough Lucas Alliance, from Mt Magnet to the Windimurra Vanadium Project.
 
The project involved the construction of a 279km steel pipe of 200 nominal bore and 72 km of 150 nominal bore, with several valve and scraper stations constructure at intervals along the route. 

The project also involved the delivery of security compounds with prefabricated piping skids and buildings. 
Due to the extent of rock it was necessary to drill and blast 85km of trench and to use rock chain trenchers for an additional 126km of trench.
