Document Controller

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure document control compliance to support the project.

 

Qualifications:

  • Recognised tertiary qualifications within a relevant field of study, preferred but not essential
  • White Card

Experience:

  • 1-3 years. experience working in Document Control, preferably in the construction industry

 

Required Competencies:  

  • Working knowledge of EDMS systems
  • Sound problem-solving skills
  • Strong Initiative and proactive nature
  • Key collaborative skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • High attention to detail with exception report writing ability
  • Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

 

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Document Control activities for departments assigned to, Design, Technical E&M, Quality, Environment and Site.
  • Undertake quality control of all submittals of FGJV Documentation.
  • Undertake quality control check of all documents received form subcontractors
  • Process subcontractors’ documentation of both incoming and outgoing
  • Process documentation for SHL review for both incoming and outgoing
  • Ensure that best practice turn-around of documentation is achieved and maintained
  • Reduction of metadata errors through comprehensive quality control checks
