We have an exciting opportunity for an IT manager to join the SRL project team in Melbourne! In this role, you will effectively oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure necessary for the successful execution of the project. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, IT systems integration, and team leadership.

Your focus will include:

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the SRL project goals.
  • Identify technology needs and recommend solutions to enhance project efficiency.
  • Manage IT project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
  • Oversee the deployment of IT systems and software solutions, ensuring they meet project specifications.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors to manage service delivery and support.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for project stakeholders regarding IT progress and challenges.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably within large infrastructure or transport projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
