We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the Lombrum Naval Base Infrastructure project team based on Manus Island in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Clough is delivering the construction of the Lombrum Infrastructure Project; a joint initiative of the Australian and Papua New Guinean governments to redevelop the Lombrum Naval Base on Manus Island, Papua New Guinea.

This role is based on Manus Island in PNG working 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off. We are looking for PNG National citizens only.

Your focus will include:

  • Partner with Project team to provide contract advice, resolve contractual and commercial problems

  • Assist project team to understand and adhere to contractual obligations

  • Provide input to cost control and forecasting of final cost at completion position for assigned subcontracts

  • Preparation of claims and variations for the adjustment of compensation and time

  • Assist in the preparation various management reports and monthly financial reports

What you will bring to the team:

  • Contracts Administration experience within the engineering, resourcing or construction industry on a similar project

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and applying time management and prioritisation skills to deliver the desired outcomes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential and experience using Oracle and Prism is a bonus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
