Clough completed a three year contract for the underground development and ore production mining operations at the Mt McClure Gold Mine.

The scope of work included decline, lateral and rising development in addition to long hole and airleg stoping with ore removal by remote loaders and trucks.

During the contract over 10 km of development was excavated, 1.6 km rising and 100 km of the long hole drilling to produce more than 1.5 million tonnes of ore and waste. Stope production was carried out using Toro 151 remote control loaders. Production rates of up to 25,000 tonnes per month were consistently achieved.
