The team working on the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project recently reached a major milestone with the delivery of three electrical transformers at the Stabling & Maintenance Facility (SMF).

This exciting delivery will assist in powering the future metro network through high-voltage electricity conversion.

The 44-tonne and the two 29-tonne transformers are part of the six in total required to supply power across the metro system safely and reliably, crucial elements of the community-connecting Sydney Metro project. Well done to the entire team for the execution of this milestone delivery.
