Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

We currently have an opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join the Woodman Point Project team in Perth. Working on a Monday to Friday roster, as the Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Project commercial team in its delivery obligations.

This role may move to site in 2025 to better support the project.

Your focus will include:

  • Assist with preparation of all claims and variations for the adjustment of compensation and time under the head contract and assigned subcontracts.

  • Partner with project team to review and certify subcontractor’s progress payment claims in accordance with the timeframes included in the relevant subcontract and legislation.

  • Provide commercial and contract advice and support to project team managing the assigned subcontracts.

  • Provide input to cost control and forecasting of final cost at completion position for assigned subcontracts.

  • Assist with the management and resolution of all claims with subcontractors / suppliers in accordance with Contract Formation and Administration Operating Standards.

  • Participate in progress meetings with assigned subcontractors to ensure all outstanding commercial and contract matters are dealt with in accordance with the time frames prescribed in the subcontract.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Previous experience as a commercial or contracts administrator on infrastructure, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects.

  • Recent experience in the management of subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Associated experience in the use of Corporate Management software packages, preferably SAP, NPP and Vision

  • Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills.

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management and economics (CM&E) is preferred.
