Meet Rebekah Wells, electrician on the iconic Snowy 2.0 Project!

When Rebekah started her apprenticeship, she quickly realised how much she loved working with her hands in a more physical role. She enjoyed being in steel caps and wanted to find a project that would push her mentally and physically and give her satisfaction. She found all that and more on the Snowy 2.0 Project!

"There are so many things I like about my role! I enjoy the satisfaction I feel working out here and doing something different, being part of the renewable energy future of Australia, and, most importantly, working with my crew. They're always accommodating and always there to teach me new things.

“What I would say to someone thinking about joining the Snowy 2.0 Project is to give it a go! Snowy has been nothing but fantastic for me. It has helped me develop my skills in many ways, opening new opportunities for the future.

"You get to be a part of something big and completely different, stepping outside your comfort zone. Honestly, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

"It is really exciting being part of one of Australia's largest renewable energy projects - we're out here, aiming to make a difference, and not just for us now, not just for my kids, but for the whole community for many future generations."
