Project Ceres milestone alert - the sixth batch of modules has now been shipped from the fabrication yard in Chennai to Perdaman’s Project Ceres project site Karratha.

This shipment included four key modules:

  • 2 x modules from the Power Generation area

  • 2 x modules from the Urea section

Perdaman Chairman, Vikas Rambal, led the flag-off ceremony for the modules during his visit to India. With Voyage 6 now successfully docked in Karratha and modules installed on-site, the team continues to make steady progress on this landmark project. In total, 31 out of 110 modules have now been dispatched.

These modules are a critical component of the state-of-the-art urea plant, which will have a production capacity of 2.3 MMTPA upon completion, making it one of the largest urea plants in the world. Well done to all involved.
