Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C recently welcomed students from Viewbank College as part of the fourth Constructing Her Pathway Work Experience Program.

During their visit to the Manningham site, students gained hands-on experience and explored the diverse career opportunities available within the construction industry.

A highlight of the day was seeing Tunnel Boring Machine Gillian following its recent breakthrough, alongside hearing directly from female professionals working across the Project. Students gained valuable insights into a range of disciplines, including design, engineering, communications and engagement, and environment.

Programs like Constructing Her Pathway play an important role in inspiring the next generation of industry professionals and showcasing the many rewarding careers that contribute to delivering major infrastructure projects.

Webuild, as part of the Spark Joint Venture, is delivering the North East Link tunnels. Once complete, North East Link will remove up to 15,000 trucks off local roads each day. The project will also deliver new community parklands, 34km of new and upgraded walking and cycling paths.
