Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for a site-based Lead Planner on a 19:9 rotation to join the Project Controls team. Reporting to the site leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting Project Controls/Planning whilst playing a critical role in the development, coordination & monitoring of detailed construction schedules & programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and scheduling function on-site, ensuring detailed and accurate project schedules are developed and maintained.
  • Create and manage the master programme using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6).
  • Work collaboratively with all disciplines on-site to gather input, validate progress, and forecast future works.
  • Identify critical paths, constraints, and risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress against the baseline programme, analyzing deviations and reporting impacts.
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates, including look-ahead programmes, progress reports, and dashboard summaries.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to integrate their schedules into the overall programme.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Planner or Lead Planner on major construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, critical path analysis, and earned value management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site (FIFO).
