Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the 'Project CERES' urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
We are currently searching for a HSE Training Coordinator to join our Karratha-based team (19:9 FIFO Rotation) on Project Ceres. Reporting to the HSE Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a project free from incidents and injuries. By developing and implementing all aspects of training plans, learning and development programs and training systems, this role will be crucial in the maintaining a high level of safety across the project.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for delivering a project free from incidents, injuries and environmental harm by providing safety leadership, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the project HSE Management System and participating in the development and delivery of the project Incident and Injury Free program
• Develop and implement project specific training plan including learning and development program
• Develop, implement and maintain training systems, facilitating new starter inductions, site orientations, material and standards, ensuring data integrity for all phases of the Project
• Responsible for scheduling and booking internal and external training activities and events for the project
• Assist department Managers/Superintendents with the development and review of Training Needs Analysis and coordinate training programs to achieve compliance with Statutory and Company/Contract
• Responsible for the verification of assessment records, tickets, licences and qualifications, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with Statutory and Company/Contract requirements
Key Requirements
• 2+ years site-based experience in construction/engineering/mining environment
• Highly developed communication skills to motivate, inspire and persuade
• Customer focus through providing timely advice and assistance and proactive to stakeholder needs
• Demonstrated leadership capability
• Demonstrated experience with training management, record keeping and reporting
