Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!   

  

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the ‘Project CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. 

 
We are currently searching for a Building Supervisor to join our Karratha-based team (19:9 FIFO Rotation) on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that all civil construction works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities 

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day activities of civil works on-site.
  • Oversee the installation, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure on the project
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out to specifications and within schedule.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide leadership and support to the team.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and report on progress, delays, and quality issues.
  • Manage the maintenance of site equipment and materials to ensure efficiency.

Key Requirements  

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Building Supervisor in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering processes, construction methods, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing teams and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction-related software and tools is a plus.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or a relevant field.
