Clough is seeking a Technical Procurement Specialist to join the Bidding Energy & Resources Team in our North Sydney office.

As an experienced Technical Procurement professional, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the procurement process during the proposal phase of a broad range of Energy and Resources projects. The role will involve developing a comprehensive Make or Buy Strategy and ensuring seamless cross-coordination among the various functions involved in the RFQ process.

Your focus will include:

• Working together with the Bid Director to make or buy execution strategy (Works Self-Performed and Subcontracted)
• Coordinate the preparation of packages to go to market, with input from Construction, Design, Estimating and Plant & Equipment inputs
• Coordinate with Procurement Manager and submit the Work Packages to Vendors
• Support the Estimating Team with the selected offers, upon Procurement Team’s recommendations

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum 5+ years experience in the delivery of energy, resources or similar construction projects
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
• Capable of hands on management of major equipment packages
• Demonstrated understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to negotiate same
