Clough completed the procurement and construction contract to deliver a light vehicle tunnel and heavy vehicle overpass as part of the Mining Area C (MAC) mine expansion.

The project involved construction of a new oversized bypass road, new tunnel, new temporary bypass road and dust suppression. The construction required borrow pit management, earthworks, road works, concrete tunnel works and stormwater drainage. The infrastructure facilitates will assist in transportation from the Packsaddle 1 West (P1W) pit to the crushing facility.
