The Clough Foundation is pleased to announce it has renewed its long-standing partnership with the Clontarf Foundation to support the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem, and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men around Australia.

The Clough Foundation has been working with Clontarf Foundation since 2014.

Peter Bennett, Clough CEO and Clough Foundation Director said: “I am incredibly proud of the partnership between the Clough Foundation and Clontarf Foundation; it has been a privilege to engage with so many of the students over the years. I look forward to seeing the continued growth of the Clontarf Foundation and the important work they are doing to support young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men around the country in achieving their highest potentials.”

Gerard Neesham, Clontarf Foundation CEO said: “This year, we have surpassed an impressive milestone of 11,200 participants across Australia, and it is with immense gratitude that we acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our partners, including the Clough Foundation who are a long-term partner. Without their unwavering support, achieving this significant milestone would not have been possible.”

Using supportive relationships, a welcoming environment and a diverse range of activities, the young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men that participate in the Clontarf program develop improved self-esteem and confidence which assists them to participate in education, employment and society in a positive way.

The Clontarf Foundation operates 148 academies across Australia, supporting more than 11,500 students and employing over 560 dedicated staff members. Using the existing passion these young men have for sport allows Clontarf to attract them to school and keep them coming.
