The team at Snowy 2.0’s Polo Flat Segment Factory has achieved 1,500 days Lost Time Injury (LTI) free – that’s more than four years!
This impressive milestone is a testament to the commitment and hard work of everyone involved. Congratulations on this extraordinary achievement!
The Polo Flat factory in Cooma, New South Wales, supports the operation of the project’s three tunnel boring machines which are excavating and lining 27 kilometres of tunnels from Tantangara Reservoir to Talbingo Reservoir. To date, the team has produced 110,000 regular segments.
Clough and its parent company, Webuild, are part of Future Generation Joint Venture - FGJV, the principal contractor for project owner Snowy Hydro Limited, delivering the iconic Snowy 2.0, a major pumped hydro expansion of the Snowy Scheme underpinning Australia’s transition to a renewable energy future.
