Celebrating the next generation of engineering innovators!

As part of our long-standing partnership with the University of Melbourne, Webuild was proud to sponsor the Endeavour Award for Innovation in Engineering and Construction Management in Complex Infrastructure at the Endeavour Exhibition.
 
Marco Assorati, Webuild’s Senior Executive Vice President Oceania, delivered the keynote address for the evening, sharing his journey in the engineering and construction industry, and what inspires him as a leader to pursue more sustainable outcomes for the industry and the people driving it. 
 
Marcel Barakat and Matteo Priori from Webuild joined students, academics and industry leaders to assess and celebrate the outstanding work on display and present the Webuild-sponsored award. 
 
Congratulations to Luke Phelan, Bianca Tamburro, and Dominique Woodmore, whose project, ‘Structural Optimisation for Sustainable Building Solutions’ was recognised for its innovative approach to sustainable infrastructure and practical application to future projects.
 
As one of Australia's largest showcases of emerging engineering and IT talent, the exhibition features more than 150 student projects tackling real-world challenges and developing solutions that will help shape a more sustainable future.
