The team delivering the Dampier Bulk Handling Facility project at the Port of Dampier recently had the privilege of welcoming a cohort of recent job seekers who have completed a Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure to their very first project site visit, and it was a truly impactful experience.

From walking through the camp, to visiting Pilbara Ports Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) centre with the Harbour Master himself, and stepping out onto the live construction site, the visit offered more than just a glimpse into the industry, it sparked real motivation and future ambition. Since the visit, each of the participants expressed their excitement and eagerness to pursue a career in construction.

A big thank you to Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation and Pilbara Ports for your support for this site visit, and to all those in the team who helped bring this meaningful day to life.
