Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!
Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the ‘Project CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
We are currently searching for a Materials QC Inspector to join our Karratha-based team (19:9 FIFO Rotation) on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components throughout our operations.

Responsibilities
In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, executing the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records.
Verifying that the supply is in compliance with the Purchase Order and Project Specifications (visual and dimensional control).
Confirming that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved and handled.
Checking that materials are correctly identified and traceable.
Carrying out the visual checks on the materials delivered to the operating site, verifying the integrity of the supply and the correct marking of the items.
Orderly collecting and managing/checking documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all material and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier.
Issuing the relevant Inspection Material Reports and/or Receiving Inspection Reports, Non-Conformity Reports.
In Case of subcontractor activities, ensuring the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing material inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records.
Working cooperatively with Construction, Subcontractors, and Client QA Representatives in a team environment with transparent sharing of information to the benefit of the project.
Providing input into the weekly quality reports to the Project Quality Manager.
Reporting any discrepancies or concerns immediately upon discovery to the Site Quality Manager.
Providing quality-related guidance to all stakeholders.
Conducting in-process audits to determine adequacy and effectiveness of quality control activities being performed throughout the project to meet the requirements of the approved Quality, Inspection and Test Plans.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as QC Inspector
Experience in construction / mining environment
Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access).
Strong communications and writing skills
Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Qualification
