2025 has been a transformative year for Perdaman’s Project Ceres in Karratha, WA!
Project highlights:
- Construction and shipment of the first modules from India
- Arrival and installation of modules on-site, including the tallest module (42m high, 985 tonnes!)
- Six module shipments completed
- Successful air raise of the 120-tonne Ammonia Storage Tank roof
- Surpassed 50% completion for EPC, celebrated with WA Premier Roger Cook
- + 5 million work hours LTI-free

About the Project
Saipem Clough Joint Venture is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
