Full steam ahead at SRL East!

Excavation is accelerating across SRL East, with major milestones achieved at both the Mount Waverley and Glen Waverley sites in October.

Mount Waverley 
▪️ Excavation reached 10.8m below the capping beam, passing the halfway mark
▪️ Third row of ground anchors completed
▪️ 25-tonne gantry crane commissioned in the acoustic shed

Glen Waverley 
▪️ Station box excavation commenced
▪️ 275-tonne crawler crane mobilised for strut installation
▪️ All 268 piles completed
▪️ Permanent water treatment plant commissioned

Webuild, as part of the Terra Verde Joint Venture, is delivering almost 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between the future Box Hill and Glen Waverley stations, along with 39 cross passages, two station boxes, two TBM launch sites, and an intervention and ventilation shaft for the Suburban Rail Loop East Project.
