    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join the Planning Team in Melbourne! In this role, you will effectively preparing tender and proposal planning, scheduling and resource allocations. The Senior Planner will work closely with the construction and procurement teams across a variety of tenders, budget estimates or schedule of rates build ups for a diverse portfolio of clients. The proposal worked on may include tenders, Engineering Studies, Priced Front-End Engineering Design and Concept Design bids.

    Your focus will include:

  • Review requests for proposals and tenders and contribute to the development of efficient and cost-effective proposals to be included as the tender response.
  • Review tender documentation to determine scope and specific terms and conditions.
  • Develop accurate programmes from the client or engineering supplied data.
  • Analyse benchmarks and historical costs for input into schedules
  • Report to management the proposal progress and advise of any difficulties or constraints in compiling the submission. Liaise with Business Unit Manager on the specifics of successful proposals and carry out internal tender handover meetings of successful proposals to delivery teams.
  • Drive integrated control models through intelligent WBS coding that integrates clients requirements, schedule, cost control and reporting.
  • Responsible for defining the WBS/ABS and help facilitate a schedule by allocating estimates to specific sections of the WBS/ABS
  • Supervise and monitor schedule structure parameters for submissions by ensuring conformance with both Client and Clough internal guidelines.
  • Responsible for the development of comprehensive Basis of Schedule documents outlining schedule assumptions, construction sequencing, calendars, weather, resources, equipment and Critical Path information
  • Responsible for coordinating planning forecast meetings, driving interface of package owners in the forecast process to validate the integrity of the forecast, understand the key drivers for change to forecast and identify risk and opportunities

What you will bring to the team:

  • 6+ year’s multi discipline project planning experience, with 1-2 years’ senior experience.
  • Experience within bidding/tender environment with multi discipline exposure
  • Experience in Infrastructure Project is essential.
  • Experienced User of Primavera P6 and Advanced skills in the MS office suite of applications and data management
  • Understands how to apply physical progress and earned value measurement.
