Purpose of the Role: The International HR Officer is responsible to provide accurate and timely administration support to the Human Resources team, in all activities across the department, including (but not limited to) mobilization, recruitment, visa processing, travel management and ensure the efficient, effective and compliant execution of tasks. |
Qualifications: - Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resource Management, Employment Relations, Organisational Psychology, or working towards – preferred, not essential
Experience: - Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role – preferably in the construction industry

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: - Assist the team with implementing the project culture framework
- Generating employment contracts and internal employee correspondence as required.
- Under guidance, provide generalist HR and administrative support across the organization
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department including the processing of mail, filing, photocopying, faxing, data entry, scheduling of meetings, booking of international flight ecc.
- Maintaining personnel records while ensuring information contained is current and comprehensive
- Collate data for, and generate reports as requested
- Answer general queries from personnel and escalate any issues to the HR Manager
- Manage multiple inboxes – ensuring a timely response to queries.
- Administration for the international personnel onboarding and recruitment, by verifying the correct deployment of local benefits in line with the terms and conditions of their assignment
- Provided support for employee onboarding tasks, including scheduling medical checks, project inductions, and white card certifications, etc.
- Provide support on visa process and international flight booking
- Develop relationships with Project leaders and relevant external stakeholders.
- Maintaining employees personal files and records, communicating HR policies & across the organization at all levels.
- Develop and generate accurate HR reports utilizing the departments reporting tool(s) and provides analysis based on requirements.
