We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join the Woodman Point! In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing RFQ, bid clarification and conforming commercial agreements in project execution phase. You will be working closely with the team to support and achieve project cost and scheduled targets.

This role will be based on site Monday to Friday at Woodman Point.

Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Woodman Point Water Treatment Facility Upgrade, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

Your focus will include:

  • Manages the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned minor equipment packages and ‘Bulks’ type procurement.

  • Interfaces with Engineering Leads for the timely issue of Scopes of work, MTO’s and associated documents for assigned RFQ packages.

  • Coordinates issue of and responses to bid clarifications.

  • Arranges and hosts Bid Clarification Meetings when required

  • Takes an active role in negotiations with Suppliers.

  • Develops and maintains commercial evaluation of bids for each package

  • Identify and resolve schedule performance issues which could result in the delay of supplied goods and/or materials, including issuing purchase orders for these activities

What you will bring to the team:

  • Relevant qualification in Supply Chain or Commercial Management is preferred and or significant experience in a similar role

  • Demonstrated experience managing procurement of major equipment packages for infrastructure projects

  • Experience in expediting delivery of purchased equipment and associated Supplier documentation

  • Knowledge of materials management systems and processes and maintaining purchasing/expediting data in materials management systems.

  • Exceptional communication, ability to negotiate outcomes and work as part of a team
