Project Engineer - Interface

Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for a Project Engineer - Interface to join our team on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Approvals & Interface Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects from inception to completion while effectively communicating with the client, contractors and internal teams to drive project success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, contractors, and the client.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Address and resolve any interface-related challenges of conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that engineering solutions are both innovative and practical.
  • Lead, support or manage execution of scopes of work.
  • Ability to identify and manage project risk.
  • Facilitate interfaces across organisation functions and/or contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field)
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Project Engineer.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and interface management.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
