Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Controller to join the Woodman Point Team! In this role, you will play a vital role in managing site materials control activities in accordance with guidelines, process and procedures required by the project.

Your focus will include:
Liaises with Material/Logistics Supervisor to ensures that Worksite team are informed in advance of any hazardous goods shipments (by copy of MSD’s) and any wide load/heavy lift shipments to ensure that safety rules are applied and followed
Performs receiving and visual inspection of materials and equipment and verifies that goods are in accordance with shipping documents, IRC and materials certification
Receipts materials / equipment in SAP/SMAT against RNs, maintains up-to-date electronic files of all MRRs and associated documentation such as packing lists and delivery notes, RN’s etc.
Manages movement of Materials/Equipment and relevant documentation/certification between Site and sub-contractor’s premises and/or satellite sites.
What you will bring to the team:
Tertiary qualification e.g. Materials Management, Logistics, Inventory Control
5+ years minimum experience in similar role with minimum 2+ years site-based experience in EPC projects
Previous experience in construction/engineering environment
Demonstrated practical experience with bespoke Materials Management systems and databases – in SAP & SMAT
Ability to liaise and work across stakeholder groups being the link between supply chain and site construction teams
Strong attention to detail, cost effective approach and driven to achieve outcomes
