We are seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our team at Tallawarra Power Station upgrade

Your focus will include:   

  • Purchase stock and consumables from equipment manufacturers, local and international suppliers.
  • Maintain continuous communication with suppliers of equipment and services to ensure that delivery progress is measured, and dates are met.
  • Assess suppliers to determine commercial viability to optimise value and achieve commercial savings.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Identify and resolve areas of schedule performance that could result in delay of supply and may require intervention to resolve
  • Liaise with Project Controls’ invoicing processes to verify that delivery milestones have been achieved.
  • Coordinate temporary equipment inspections.

What you will bring to the team:   

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in materials expediting/logistics/supply chain
  • Experience in construction projects is essential.
  • Focus on procurement contract deliverables
  • Experience in the Mining, Engineering or Resources industry is desired
  • Experience in identifying process improvements, developing and / or implementing processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and preferable experience using Oracle and Prism
