Construction Manager

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our new Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF) project for a FIFO position to Karratha.

DBHF is a wharf structure to be built to support the export of urea in bulk quantities through the Port of Dampier. The project will require the demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, the construction a new land backed wharf and land redevelopment.

The position is on a 20:8 rotation to site in Karratha.


We require an experienced a Construction Manager with a background in Civil or Wharf to join our team.


Your focus will include but is not limited to:

Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with project specifications.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.

Monitor work quality, conduct inspections and ensure all construction activities meet industry standards and project requirements.

Maintain accurate records of project progress and daily reports.

Provide guidance and training to all team members.

Understand and take ownership of particular scope of work, in relation to your discipline background.


What you will bring to the team:

Ability to work on a 20:8 rotation to site (Karratha).

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, a related field or equivalent experience in construction preferred.

Proven experience in a supervisory role within construction, with a background in SMP, E&I or Civil disciplines.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Experience with EPC or lump-sum type projects.

Strong understanding of construction process, safety regulations and quality control standards.

Excellent understanding of Australian safety standards and compliance.

10+ years’ experience in a Supervisory role.
