Advisor - Environmental
🌱 About the Role
As an Environmental Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of environmental governance across our construction sites, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and driving a culture of sustainability. You’ll work closely with construction teams, stakeholders, and government agencies to implement robust environmental management systems and strategies.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to construction teams on environmental compliance
- Implement and monitor Environmental Management Plans and strategies
- Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including EPA, NPWS, and DCCEEW
- Promote a proactive environmental culture across all project sites
- Support environmental training and continuous improvement initiatives
🎓 What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within construction
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and management systems
- Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- White Card & Driver’s Licence
