Clough was commissioned to coordinate the preparation of a feasibility study for the expansion of the Swan Brewery production facility, to include the productionof the newly-developed low alcohol beer and to increase storage and production facilities by some 30%. Clough was also awarded to manage the design and construction of the project.

The project involved major redevelopments of the original process automatic control system with state-of-the-art equipment. Following a major redesign to provide significant increase in plant capacity, the system was provided with a new computer control system. The system change over was achieved without interference to the plant’s continued production.
