We are committed to engaging and inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals. The STEM @ Clough Program aims to spark the curiosity of future talent by engaging with primary and high school students, teachers and university students.
We deliver a range of initiatives and opportunities to increase awareness about the endless possibilities a career in engineering and construction can create.
To solve the challenges of tomorrow, we need more diverse thinkers, innovators, and technological minds. The demand for skilled STEM workers is at an all-time high, and we need to act now to ensure that supply and demand meets in the very near future.
Through STEM @ Clough, we aim to:
Increase the percentage of females enrolling and completing engineering bachelor’s degrees in Australia
Support and encourage the facilitation of local programs that promote STEM learning, as well as engineering studies and career opportunities
Create a spark for a career in STEM
Provide opportunities for scholarships, and graduate and intern programs
Prepare for the future of STEM and ensure there will be a high calibre of future STEM professionals to support our projects and the industry
World Science Festival
Webuild was the proud main stage sponsor of the City of Science at the World Science Festival Brisbane (WSFB), one of the largest celebrations of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the southern hemisphere.
With a legacy of global engineering feats, we recognise STEM's pivotal role in shaping our world and solving the challenges of tomorrow. The Webuild activation showcased the true marvels of engineering throughout our project history, and we were thrilled to be visited by so many members of the community.
