Clough completed the design and construction contract for the Cogeneration Power Plant, located in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate in Thailand.

The project was a turnkey design, procure and construct installation including a 3.6 megawatt gas turbine generator complete with a waste heat recovery system to be fed into the drying kilns.

The project involved the design and construction of foundations for the fuel gas compressor and gas turbine generator,  design and construction of a building to house the switchgear for the generator, fuel gas compressor and ancillary equipment and the design and installation of electrical work including high voltage, medium volatage and low voltage switchgear, cable trays, power and control cable.

The electrical work also entailed connection into an existing power grid substation.
