Meet Cindy Limantara, Principal Process Engineer with the Webuild Group!
Cindy first joined the business in 2013 as a Process Engineer, contributing to a range of Clough projects, from early-stage studies and tenders to full EPC project execution. After a decade with the company, she took on a new challenge with a mining operator, exploring oil and gas opportunities from a different perspective. When that chapter came to a close, she was looking for her next career move, one that ultimately led her back to Clough!
With the business expanding its engineering capabilities, Cindy saw an exciting opportunity to be part of its next chapter.
“As a Principal Process Engineer, I provide technical guidance and leadership, mentor and coach the engineering team, and support business development with our existing clients.
“I enjoy solving problems and making things work, two qualities I think are essential for engineers, particularly in the construction industry. We're often faced with complex challenges, and it's our role to analyse them and deliver simple, cost-effective solutions.
“One of the things I really value about the business is the team culture. We've always had a reputation for attracting not just highly capable people, but genuinely nice people too. A collaborative and positive team dynamic is more important than just technical know-how, because skills can be taught, but being a great teammate can't.
“What excites me about being part of the Webuild Group is the career potential. Being part of a large organisation creates opportunities for lateral career movements and also possibly international relocations, something I’m definitely open to one day!
“There’s never been a better time to join the business. With a diverse portfolio of projects in both energy and infrastructure, we’re well-positioned for future growth. That means more opportunities and a strong pipeline of work for engineers.”
Cindy is passionate about diversity and people development, and has already spoken on a number of panels in this space this year, inspiring the next generation of engineers and women in the industry.
Outside of work, Cindy enjoys travelling and exploring new countries with her partner. Last year’s highlight was Turkey, especially the breathtaking Cappadocia region. She also enjoys yoga, and weekend walks through Hyde Park (usually with a donut from Chu Bakery in hand!).
