A big‑scale look at prefabrication for our Interns - Our 2025/26 interns have kicked off the year with a valuable industry‑learning visit to one of our trusted partners, Powins! 

During the fabrication yard tour, the interns explored a range of electrical and prefabricated infrastructure, including LV and HV switchboards, cabling systems, fire detection and suppression equipment, VSDs, transformers, and prefabricated buildings at various stages of construction. 

Seeing these structures up close (including one building stretching more than 30 metres long) gave our interns a firsthand appreciation of the scale, precision, and efficiency that offsite prefabrication brings to project delivery. 

A big thank you to Powins for hosting us. The tour was greatly appreciated by everyone who attended.
