Clough, in a joint venture with Christiani and Nielsen, completed the Construction contract for the supporting walls for the Ord River Diversion Dam.

The project involved the construction of concrete abutments and reinforced concrete piers to support twenty steel radial gates to control flooding at the Ord River Diversion Dam. All the cement used in the contract was transported to the site in bulk, making use of the State Shipping Services of Western Australia between Fremantle and Wyndham.
